Biodynamic agriculture is a unique organic farming system focused on enhancing soil fertility through organic management practices. This technology includes the preparation of cow horn manure (BD 500), Cow Pat Pit (CPP), and Biodynamic compost (BD compost) using locally sourced materials and earth forces. MCRC has initiated the preparation of BD 500 in mud pots, an alternate to cow horn and BD 501 utilizing silica quartz. The manures prepared using alternate materials had similar properties and hence training to beneficiaries to produce these manures using alternate materials was provided. These manures are using for seed treatment for improving the germination rate. These manures when applied to soil, improves the  nutrient availability and microbial diversity in the soil, promote strong root systems, stimulate photosynthesis, enhance leaf erectness, and reduce crop diseases.
