The work aims to improve the current standards solar lantern which are developed with planned obsolescence. The lithium battery in the proposed system would have the highest battery standards with industry leading battery warranty period. A conscious decision has been taken to use the best of both SMD and through hole technology to make service and repairability an easy process. As these product need to work in various terrain utmost care has been taken to make it work in all weather condition.
