Image forming techniques such as Circular Paper Chromatography, Picture Rising Chromatography and Sensitive crystallization are interesting approaches that can be employed to distinguish the organically grown crop product. These technologies are easy and simple authentication tools, to verify the existing certification system and benefit the small land holding farmers. This technology needs further evidence based, optimized methods for each crop product. Standardized Circular Paper Chromatography, Picture Rising Chromatography and Sensitive crystallization consists of sample preparation, image development, image evaluation & interpretation and statistical analysis. We are making efforts to develop a process for identifying crops like- grapes, onion, chilly, spinach, tomato, cabbage, moringa and mango, whether they are chemically or organically grown crops.
