This unique Technology is for utilization of fallen Cattle Carcasses (normally left for carrion) to yield BIS-compliant Meat Meal, Bone Meal (both used as fertilizer or poultry feed supplements) and Tallow: truly wealth from waste. Primary processing of Carcasses to yield Meat Meal and Tallow is done at Cluster-of-villages level whereas Bone crushing, sieving and packaging are performed at a Nodal unit. With basic technology by CTD, especially the wet-rendering Carcass Cooker, an upgraded version was co-evolved with CLRI, Chennai.
