Development Alternatives has designed and developed a device named Jal-TARA Chloroscope to determine residual chlorine (RC) in disinfected water by application of chlorine based substance. It test is colorimetric visual comparison method. With this device anyone can check effectiveness of treatment of water (RC) in field where chlorine based disinfectants have been used for this purpose at very low rate.
